PSS WORLD MEDICAL
PSS World Medical and its sibling Gulf South Medical wanted to empower their field sales workforce with mobile applications to replace their aging laptop/web based tools. The first release of the iOS based applications allowed agents to quickly search the PSS catalog, track orders, and find both customers and potential customers using GeoLocation. Currently, iMobile3 is working with PSS to bring more order entry and account features to the iPad & iPhone, representing 80% of what can be done from the website today.iMobile3 worked with PSS personnel to create the appropriate requirements artifacts. Our integration experts created the entire back-end system for customer location. This included importing a data feed from PSS's enterprise database, GeoSpatial services delivery, web services creation, and iOS client development. The latest release was showed during PSS's National Sales Conference to high praise.
