Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines provides immersive cruise experiences to more than 3.5 million people.Providing a mobile application for guests to interact with Royal Caribbean and search for cruise, ship, and destination information was a top priority for the company. iMobile3 worked with RCCL's internal design team to create a compelling application which leverages a unique live search experience, quickly filtering the available sailings from user input so that the guest is presented with the itinerary that best matches their preferences. Ship, Destination, and Stateroom information is all pleasantly displayed with rich images.
The application has been localized into 4 languages, with more added for each release. iMobile3 designed a live pricing engine that uses a file generated from RCCL systems. This engine is an in memory database with a web service front end for blazingly fast search responses. An Android client is currently under development and will be deployed Q4 2011.
