Propeller - Push Notification

PROPELLER

Push Notifications have become a unique engagement channel for mobile applications. With a user's permission, your business is able to connect directly to your applications that have been installed on a mobile device and deliver important messages about upcoming events, special offers, or news alerts. From enterprise apps to games, push notifications are changing the way consumers interact with applications and the companies that provide them.

As applications are deployed across mobile devices sponsored by different manufacturers (Apple, Microsoft, Google, RIM, Palm, etc), the complexity in delivering notifications to the devices grows. Each ecosystem has a unique method for delivering push notifications to consumers. Coding the details about each of those delivery methods is time consuming and laborious. In addition, keeping an accurate log of what consumer is using an application on which type of device is a maintenance nightmare.

That's where Propeller comes in. At its core, Propeller is an engine that knows how to send notifications to all the major smartphone device ecosystems. The details around integration with the various push notification services, the tracking of new device registrations and removals, and the scheduled delivery of notifications are all handled by our breakthrough Propeller technology.

In addition, we provide a web based user interface for your application managers to send instant messages via push notification, or schedule delivery to a future event. You can even register test devices and test your campaigns before they go live to the public.

Unique to our offering is the ability for events generated in enterprise back office systems to send notifications via our Propeller API. Your IT group can send notifications to application users as important events are generated as part of your normal business process models.
